Our History
Vita Aesthetics has its roots in Montes Medical Group, a primary care physicians’ practice that has been serving Whittier, Inglewood, Norwalk and East Los Angeles, CA for over 30 years. We started in 1986 when internist Dr. Juan Z. Montes and pediatrician Dr. Alejandro Z. Montes saw a need for comprehensive family care in the community. The two brothers wanted to provide compassionate care for the acute and chronic health needs of men, women and children alike throughout Whittier, East LA and surrounding areas, and that’s exactly what they did!
Montes Medical Group has expanded to include four locations, four doctors and over ten mid-level providers. Over the years, our staff came to understand that there were members of the community in need of a different type of care: Aesthetics!
Part of being healthy is being able to look our best. When we look more youthful and energetic, we feel more youthful and energetic, and so, to meet the need for aesthetic care in this thriving community, Vita Aesthetics & Wellness was born.
